A drummer & someone else playing drums & both together They still Can't Play it & I've been saying it for ages that guitarist might be good player But isv100% wrong for band like this his sound is totally wrong & anyone that saw TOH 82 or before especially will know & 100% agree with me
Baz does the Hugh vocal part & guitar very well. He carries on the tradition . Thumbs up.
Was a brilliant gig x the bunnymen live forever ❤
Iam born and bread in Dagenham and its my least favourite song off of NMH
JJ looks fit and well for someone who is now 72 years old
It's not REALLY The Stranglers without Hugh, Dave or Jet. It's basically JJB and some friends playing Stranglers' covers. Just like The Skids and Big Country aren't The Skids and Big Country with so many missing members.
Excellent ❤
First thumbs up and I'm 3k miles away...luvs me the Utube.
Plese, can I borrow your Time machine for a minute? 😊 Just kidding, it says March 2025! Thanks for the video
i bought the crossing when it came out and to this day it’s the best album i’ve ever owned. obviously it blows todays music away entirely. but it kinda did that on its release too, was so powerful track after track
Pretty tight for a tribute band
Loved The Tube, pure raw music but this performance was one of if not the best to grace its stages.
Hanging Around with No More Heroes eh?
I saw them live in Belfast on the 11th of March and they were excellent.I felt like a teenager again up on the floor dancing the night away.I have to say I was very impressed with Toby on the keys and how good he was.when Dave passed away I was really sad because I thought that was the end of the Stranglers.following Dave is a hard act to follow as you know he was a genius.❤
This was a brilliant gig. They just seem to get better!
Pretty wanky the way they`re standing so far from the edge of the stage!!! They`re miles away even from the front row.
Could listen to this day/night what 🎵saw them in Glasgow last week AMAZING 👌🎵🏴🐀🖤
Ive been learning this on the bass. 😎 Went to this gig last night. Unfortunately th3y opened 2ith 2 duff choices( imho)
👍❤
Damn! LISTEN to that rubber-band bass-line cutting the groove and keeping such wicked time!..
Saw The Alarm twice. Once at the Brighton Dome in about 1984 and the Brighton Top Rank Suite in 1986/87. Absolutely brilliant protest rock.
No casqe
I swear when this first started I thought, "Oh, it's just a lipsynch!" it sounded so perfect. After 30 seconds, I noticed it is different from the recorded version. SOOO Good!
So awesome! Thanks for the Video
Pure energy.
Fu😋☝️🚘g Fantastic 👍👍👍👍👍🏴
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Loved this band but time has gone X 40
Brilliant gig pal
Ask Walter about the tires in the First 3 Stages 😉……
Wow awesome 🤩
They do indeed aware we paved the way to call in write to get before cell phones etc etc weird of mouth was advertisement and get dreams being seen witnessed well embarrassed
The last s sections of them paying live entire crowd continued dancing through it entire show. That's a concert having a blast in the moments love watching dancing this is my favorite all their songs but that last I shared with public are fabulous clips love live life to your fullest stay true to yourself trust you first you've gotta understand those whom know me knows the meaning behind things solidarity can't get it if your not willing to grow and learn experiences and some things catch you off guard but in wonderful matters later in in your life span seriously enjoy it but be alert life can change in 2.2 seconds trust and believe me take time to smell the roses or mountains your view smiles to you all. ❤
👍💓👍
Wow! What an unforgettable night that was! It’s hard to capture the atmosphere on a video but you’ve managed it. Excellent and thanks for sharing.
I am wondering if there is a audio recording of this performance. Tape, vinyl....? The reason I ask is because I am almost certain that I heard this very version on WXRT in Chicago sometime in the early 1990s....
The Clash with acoustics... The Alarm, The Waterboys, U2, Simple Minds.....God had the best music in the 80s
an incredible band whos career was badly managed - they should have hit the US hard in 85/86 - they would have equalled the success of U2. RIP Stuart ❤
Easily best band to come out of Scotland, and that includes Simple Minds,Del Amitri,Wet Wet Wet,Texas etc.Criminally under rated by music snobs. If I have a criticism of Stuart it's that he was maybe a bit too humble and didn't have the swagger of Jim Kerr or Marti Pellow who had twice his arrogance, but half his talent.
Tony and Geddy Lee two of my favourite bassists with a surprising amount of overlap between them 😎

Geniale Band!!!
Criminally underrated band
Mike the front man had cancer and I'm glad that he recovered and the early 80's the Alarm had hits and 99 guns and mtv was proud to having mike and the Alarms on radio and mtv had a collection of my buddy Mike and my mother died of cancer 5 years ago and I do pray and now I preach and do Prison Bible Ministry Mike God is good all the time and Jesus be with Mike always
Can't believe The Skids are playing in the back yard of a pub?? Is this the circuit they do now?? One of my favourite bands from the late 70's/ early 80's. If I'd lived anywhere near I'd have been there in a heartbeat. And they put every bit as much enthusiasm into their performance, as if they'd been playing an arena, so fair play to them.
Imagine fighting an army that keeps appreaing from the mist.
I was at this gig came down from Newcastle went to north wales for a week after …one of the best holidays ever had a smile on my face ever since 😅
Remember watching this at the time, you could tell back then that Stuart was rather shy but also very thoughtful,
What a fantastic night. Thanks for posting this. I was on the side balcony to your left.
Nice one! Think I was stood either right next to you or two places to your right!
